Congratulations on your SX, your trip to Germany was probably a blessing.
One question: What is the "dittedutt" between the windows in the roof. A speaker?

No "dittedutt" between my sunroofs. LR Freelander2 2,2 Td4 HSE manuel Stornaway Grey (Metallic) & Ebony Black Leather & Sun/Moon-roof & Bi-Xenon & Roof Rails & Tow bar & Body side rubbing strips & Cold climate pack & Privacy glass & NavTeq . Of course I have an alarm, Emergency alarm with horn and hazard lamps.
Do not all LR2 have an alarm?
Are we talking about a different type of alarm? LR Freelander2 2,2 Td4 HSE manuel Stornaway Grey (Metallic) & Ebony Black Leather & Sun/Moon-roof & Bi-Xenon & Roof Rails & Tow bar & Body side rubbing strips & Cold climate pack & Privacy glass & NavTeq . Production Date: 11/5-2007 in Halewood.

Exactly, they are the volumetric sensors.

When I lock the car by pressing the lock button once, the alarm is set including the volumetric alarm. When I press it agian, only the volumetric alarm is disabled. This is usefull if you want to leave your kids in there or for the dog.

When I unlock the car by pressing the unlock button once, only the drivers door is unlocked. If I press it again, all doors are unlocked.

There is also a seperate button to unlock the boot and a button to swich on the the lights.

The final button is a panic button.

---

My dealer ordered the car with the smokers pack, so I get these 2 ashtrays which fit into the bottle-holders. These are handy to store small stuff in, as the can be closed. Smart thinking on my dealers part.

---

About the interior colour: My other car is a convertible, and I do like the brightness of the interior. It also brightens your mood! I love the contrast with the black, just like the chrome parts enhances the look of it. When I got it delivered, it was parked next to an black one with black interior and no chrome. Mine looked bigger and more premium, just becoouse of those parts.

---

I must say I'm extatic with the car and the service I got up to now.
I've been driving it around and enjoyinig it emensly. Hence the late response Very Happy

Beautiful car! *

The colour thing is such a dilemma. Life could be a lot easier if we went back to 'any colour you like so long as its black'. (Most people will know this was said by Henry Ford for the Model T Ford in the 1930's).

I've ordered Stornaway Grey with black leather interior. But every time I see another colour combination I think 'that looks great', and have doubts about my own choice. But I think the truth is that the FL2 looks good in any combination. And it would be boring if we all had the same.

*I was in UK this week and heard the ad on the radio: "why have a car when you can have a Landrover?"

The reason I chose black is becouse the bottom plastic parts are black.
That way it's one color overall.

I have the same colour combo and I love it as it looks very subtle and premium in my opinion. I am a bit Grey myself it would seem, as I would of had my other car in Grey if the wife hadn't pushed for yellow or red! Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back!
