Both the blinds on my 08 Freelander 2 dont slide all the way back (open) is there a spring that needs replacing ?? |

That's why the spring has gone, it's under maximum tension closed, always best to leave open when not needed, they work similar to the pull down house blind but doesn't have the stop facility but are always under tension. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

ours is the same, for the rear only, guessing the front has not been used much then.

update was out at the weekend in all that sun, the rear blind has been left open for a while and it seems to have got its spring back... Stewart
