Be careful what you buy though. I bought a set from eBay in black and silver. First power wash and they were just silver.

Thanks for the warning, that's exactly what I was looking at! Nothing wrong with my chrome one's, I'll maybe not bother. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Firenze Red

I recently (last September in fact) bought a set of four genuine LR023302 (Sparkle Silver / green logo) centre caps to replace the tatty factory fitted originals.

Within two months when washing the car - I discovered two had lost their silver caps leaving just the underlying plastic clip-in fittings in the wheels and a third silver cap was was very loose. One of the fully detached silver caps was lying on my drive, the other... who knows?

The 4x4 parts company was less than helpful saying it was JLR’s problem and JLR were not playing ball. I repaired the two that I could with a good dab of Araldite and the seller sent me one more as a 'good will gesture’ giving me a full set of four with silver caps again. All are still intact.

Some sort of thin double sided sticky pad had been used - obviously a bad batch.

Can’t be certain but they do look very similar to ones I bought. Same price too. Buy cheap, buy twice.
