Insurance is such a racket. Just this week I received my Saga buildings and contents renewal for my home. Last year was £320, this year they wanted £830 for the same cover and that was with no claims. They could not drop it. So a quick search got me the same cover for £245 with Halifax.

Not looking forward to June when the car is up for renewal, having had a slight smash last year.

Snap - our home insurance is (or was) with SAGA and they increased the premium by 38%. No claims no floods etc. Probably going with Tesco bank who are doing it for less than last years rate with saga. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.
