I met him once at the Helicopter Museum, he seemed quite interested in our efforts at restoration. He stopped to ask me about a Rear Rotor Gearbox from a Bristol Belvedere that we had on display.

It was in 2007 when the Queen opened a new Hanger. In the background is one of two of the historic Queen's Flight Helicopters that we have at the Museum.

The picture shows a perfect view of my back in my best blue blazer (note - I have even less hair now)

Always think its a shame when people don't quite reach their 100th birthday. I'm sure our Queen is devastated after 70+ years together.
RIP. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

As sad as it is, I can’t believe that she follows on from Prince Philip. Suppose it just shows what a diverse lot we all are

I thought the topic title was Notable Obituaries, I know there has been a few vague ones in the past but Big Brother contestants aren't notable. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

It is probably that open topped Series vehicle they used on some Commonwealth tours, I doubt the present BBC researchers know the difference between any Series and a Defender. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
