Make that 2, I need a 19" spare wheel for exactly the same reason.

Not sure the 19" wheel is very popular though.

the 19"s do fill the arches in a bit more and tyre prices are not
much different than the 18"s .

I shall do this, looking at it I can have a 17" as a spare for my 19" normal wheels. The overall circumference of the tyre is very close, not exact but it's a get me home tyre.

@captin - thanks, I phone Lucas Wheels and it sounds like he has just what I need. I am going over to see him later today.

Kev

I've just been over to Luscas Wheels to collect a wheel with a new tyre suitable for a spare to replace that silly glue and pump idea lol.

First, what a really nice guy!

We had a good chat about all things Land Rover and I got some good tips of where to get the parts I need. On my way home he text me with links for all the parts, clearly he picked up that a guy at my age was struggling to remember everything 😁

Someone wrote above that they thought he was expensive, I just walked away with a nice looking wheel and a brand new tyre for £70. I'd have expected to pay more than that for a budget tyre, never mind a wheel too?

Either way I'm pleased.

Kev
