2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Narvik Black
Fuel Flap

The fuel flap/cover has snapped on my vehicle. I tried gluing the two parts together, using Gorilla glue at first, then quick set (5 minute) Aradlite (CRAP)
I can still lock the vehicle which is the main thing.
Can a replacement cover etc be purchased and is it difficult to remove/fit?

In the meantime, I'm going to try and get a lockable filler cap.

Thanks. I'm going to get a lockable one anyway. Halfords have them in stock, although dearer than the one in the link you provided. I don't mind though, as I need it sooner or later. I've just got to contact them to make sure it's suitable for my vehicle (they fit 99% of vehicles) according to their advert.
I would like to get the fuel flap/cover replaced though at some point, but at what cost? My vehicle is 13 years old but still going strong.

UPDATE:

I went ahead and purchased a universal lockable fuel cap from Halfords which fitted perfectly. If there's only a way of attaching the cover that snapped off the hinge, back on.
