Interior fan

Hi all
Had a weird one today , interior fan won't turn off , makes no difference whether ac on or not , in the end had to pull the fuse to stop it
Any ideas as to cause, I do have icarsoft lr2 code reader but still not exactly sure what to look for
Could it be a relay stuck and if so any idea where that may be, had a look and nothing obvious
Thanks

Andy

When I was looking for a place for a negative (earth) for my TPMS. I had the glove box out, up high to the right of where the glove box would be closed, there is a wire attached to some frame (one area I didn't take a photo). When I unscrewed this wire to add my negative for the TPMS, the fan came on. When reattached the fan went off.

So, either this wire is loose, off, corroded at a connection or broken somewhere, or a relay (as power is off when it is on) needs replacing as it is not working. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Check & trace this wire for ventilation fan.

Thanks again Lightwater
Just been and checked this wire, this is actually where I earthed my dashcam when I put it in a year ago, not loose but could have been a bit tighter, no difference fan still runs if I put fuse back in , wiggled the lead but no change there either.

I can't remember off hand but does the cover of the fuse boxes say what each relay is for.

You could disconnect the battery, then pull each relay & check. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

But I am not sure which relay is for what. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
