Injector Fuel Return Connections Removal

Just a quick question to anyone who has already done this.
How do you remove the fuel injector return connections. The Hynes manual just say's 'release the the locking clip and pull up'
It's very difficult to see which part is the clip and it looks easily broken.

Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

If memory serves I am sure you gently pull the two half round plastic tabs upwards together using thumb and index finger and the connector comes off. To refit you first make sure the two tabs are above the black plastic centre section before you replace the connector then push them down together to grip and reseal. I am sure you will hear a snap as they go back in place.

It's a bit hazy - was a while ago i did mine now, but pretty sure there was a change in design with the lifting clip at some point.... I THINK on the older ones it's actually the black centre that pulls up. Seem to recall having to pop them up with a small flat screwdriver.

Pull up on the black center parts, until they click, then pull the green part of the connector, making sure the green part is fully up. This will pull the whole connector off the injector port.
Don't force anything, as they're fragile and break easily. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Thanks for the info, that does make sense when you look at the connection. However it seems a bit pointless now if I can't do a leak off test. Going to leave well alone for now and see what happens when I am allowed to drive somewhere.

Thanks again for the help and support. Thumbs Up Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
