you will need to make the photo be small enough (7kb), there are free avtatar resizing programs out there for this

Make sure the photo is in your gallery, open the picture up and underneath you will see a line for the "BB code". Copy and paste this code into your posting and your photo will appear.

It helps to have 2 instances of Freel2.com open tp make life easier.

Do you mean an avatar image (appears underneath your name) or adding a picture into a single post?

I would like a picture of my car under my name when I post.
Incidentally i uploaded some pictures into my gallery, or so I thought, but they have disappeared into the ether.
My other problem is that CG will now know that I am a plank! Ralph

Hi Ralph,

You need a picture no bigger than 150x100 pixels - then go to your Profile, scroll down to the "Avatar control panel" (at the bottom) and click the "Browse..." button next to "Upload an avatar from your computer".

Let me know if you need any more help.

I have tried to upload through profile but despite the image now being 150 X 100 the image is still too large. Could I ask that you look in my gallery and you will see the small picture that I tried to upload. Then please tell me how to correct it. PS don't tell CG! Ralph
