The seller has got FL2 and Discovery 3 confused.

Very rare Freelander 1 16" alloys Whistle I was the only one at the time to mount these. Shocked

Only ever saw one other Freelander 1 with them on, at the Peterborough Land Rover Show a few years ago.

We fitted one of these with self levelling rear air suspension but the option was never taken up.

I have often wondered why the FL2 was not on 'bags'

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Firenze Red

We have gone from Disco 3 57 reg to a Freelander 2 13 reg mainly because cheaper to run and don't now need the towing capabilities and cavernous boot space of the disco and to reduce tax/running costs etc but I do miss the air suspension, it was brilliant , simple to use, never had one glitch in 3.5yrs and had a super gliding ride. When putting the 14x6.6 trailer on all you had to do was lower the suspension reverse up until the ball hook was beneath the trailer and raise the suspension making it effortless to screw and raise the trailer jack. Do the reverse of that to take it off. Same to change a wheel, raise suspension , put axle stand under offending corner and lower the suspension. Pity it isn't on the Freelander. Other than that the Freelander we have is an absolute beauty and very nimble although I never want to get it dirty so it spends alot of time in the garage ....shame.
