A100ian has already added a link I searched for "Fuel filter change" and this is the thread I used, https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic9310.htm...ter+change the job seems to be getting more in depth than it needs to be considering the filter change interval I would not be putting a prime bulb in-line and if you Pull the fuel through the filter when its been fitted it gets filtered in exactly the same way as when the engines running after doin it the first time its the way I will stick with . my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars! But its now gone way up Norf |

IMO it's more faff messing about injecting fuel into the tank side if the filter, rather then simply connecting the correct (mine has correct connectors) pump for a few seconds to prime the filter properly, without needing odd bits of pipe, funnels and spare can of clean fresh fuel hanging about. Sure there are many ways to do a job, but only one correct way. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone. Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver. 1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project. |
