I have the gear selector button stuck in on my auto TD4. I opened up the gear knob to replace the usual torsion spring that breaks as I know it's a common fault and happened on my previous Freelander 2.

Update : I managed to get to the gear selector assembly by removing the center console - it looks like the gear selector itself is faulty. I'll look for a second hand one from a breakers. |
