I know I have a battery problem, 3 previous fail to starts have been evidence of that although on those 3 occasions I have been able to 'rescue' myself. During a recent business trip to Glasgow Airport I left the car parked for two and a half days after which time it failed to start; it was somewhat inconvenient to discover the problem at 6pm just as I got in the car to drive to Milton Keynes! (that did end up being a late night!!!)

Would this apply also to the re-setting of the "Soot Partikel Filter" Message as well ? Does it mean, that after the "burning free exercise" (message appears in the display - I drive some extra kms and spend some extra gasoline - car starts reacting by less power, rumor and exhaust fume smell in the drivers cabin - then the car drives regularly but message remains on the display )? Do I have to switch off for 20 min. at least, to get rid of the message ? |
