Evoque Rating

Ive been looking at smaller wheels (18") to replace the 19" ones fitted atm

There is a set locally but the rating is lower than the FL2 as they're off a Evoque
Evoque =659
FL2 = 680

How much of a concern is this
Not worried about the insurance discussion just rating etc

Cheers
P.S. Just had quote from wreckers in Perth for 4 x 18" rims with 2 good tyres and 2 average tyres Big Cry

Interesting. I know plenty of FL2 owners who have 'upgraded' to Evoque alloys, as the fitment is the same, but I had no idea that the load rating was actually different (although it makes sense, as it's a lighter car). You're obviously a lot more diligent than others in that you've had a look at the wheels rather than just bolting them straight on!

Well buying them online so wanted to check they were legit. (Lightwater) was right on to it
Going to be towing a 1 tonne caravan so water to be sure. Be nice to have some more rubber to flex as 19” are a bit hard

What is the rating on an 18 inch FL rim? I don't think 21kg a corner is going to make much difference. I'm not sure off the top of my head what the ADR requirement is. MY11 SD4 SE Auto

I can’t answer the question but I bet the insurance company wouldn’t be happy.

Just had a quick look on my spare HSE set of 18" wheels & I can't see any load rating stamp on them! I'll have a better look when I have more time.

Shame you're in WA 'cos I'd be happy to sell them. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.
