We Buy Any Car Prices

As of this morning I have left the Freelander 2 and am moving onto the Disco Sport.

For anyone considering doing similar, I sold the FL2 to We Buy Any Car.

It's an early 2011 facelift, registered late 2010. 82700 miles. Big scuff on the plastic bumper, various small scratches and chips on all doors, all alloys corroded. All in good working order but all the marks you'd expect from a 10 year old well used family car. Various marks on the seats.

Got £4375 for it, which I thought was reasonable considering the wear the vehicle.

So that's a guide for anyone if they are wondering what they could realistically get. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Orkney Grey

Got offered £8200 for my 2014 GS with 75k miles, just online not in person. Don't think I'd take their offer, always happy enough to sell privately.
What DS have you gone for? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I'm sure private will always get more, but (and I hate to agree with the ad) I don't have the time to faff about with people coming to see it for a nosey and a test drive never to be seen again, for a few extra £.

Ended up with a 2020 D150 Auto 7 seater. Bloomin' lovely. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

We sold our 2012 HSE SD in Cyprus for £12000 to an US Airforce member, he's over the moon with it, at the moment I have a banger 2011 Peugeot 3008 2l auto, proper slush box, the amount of goodies on it puts LR to shame head up display, infotainment sd nav system ( just died won'tpick up satellites, any one know the aerial route to the unit) speed distance warning on HUD, auto wipers and headlights, in car selectable door sequence locking, various lighting choices, rear wiper auto choice for reverse, it's not as comfortable or as quiet as the Freely and in the wet it will spin the wheels if a bit enthusiastic on the loud pedal even if moving in 1st gear.
See what I will get after Covid and Brexit and country I will live in. Think if LR stretch the Defender 90 a touch and make it 4 door it would be a good Freelander2 replacement. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
2012 HSE SD4 In Orkney Grey now gone, best car ever.

United Kingdom 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Santorini Black

I'm also in the process of moving to a Discovery Sport and the WBAC online offer price for my 2012 SD4 XS was £11,000. Local dealer has offered £11,750 trade-in.

When you consider that WBAC would probably knock it even down further for any little mark it wasn't a difficult decision. 2012 SD4 XS Santorini Black

Wow you got a good price! The LR dealer was offering far less than WBAC. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues

wbac are owned by british car auctions,so they see a profit in the car,BCA then sell the car, they are not in the trades good books,if you google them you will see what i mean.

thats one of the problems with LR dealers they dont seem to want to give you a reasonable price for staying with their brand,
unless its something they think can go straight on the pitch with a BIG profit on it they actually suggest you take it somewhere else Evil or Very Mad
They even offer to pick you up from the wbac dealer you have just sold to, to then come and pick up your new car from them Shocked

we took their advice about taking it somewhere else Whistle and did not but LR product either Laughing

evanshalshaw beat wbac and dealer beat both as a trade in Cool

Thumbs Up .
my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars!
But its now gone way up Norf

To be fair, it is immaculate and only has 33K with full history, but I was still reasonably pleased with the offer. Someone is going to get a fantastic secondhand buy.

I wasn't expecting the trade-in to be higher than WBAC, especially considering that I got them to (almost) match the best on-line price (Drive the deal) I was able to find for the DS. 2012 SD4 XS Santorini Black

Would be interested to know if the final price WBAC offered was different to the price quoted by their computer?

Rumour has it they always knock you down. FL2 SD4 XS 2013 Orkney Grey
