Not put off by distance, happy to travel for a good vehicle. No stranger to traveling from one end of the country to another

OK then, it’s actually not too bad.......pottering around down here on fairly open roads we get on average 25mpg, on a long run to Norfolk just motorway at 70mph spot on it’ll return a very reasonable 30mpg........get into a bit of cut and thrust and it’ll plummet to 15mpg or worse, but TBH it’s not that sort of car, it’s very, very quiet and smooth so it tends to be driven nice and comfortably.

Thankfully it was not the head gasket just overheated sitting ticking over for over an hour on the drive (baby sitting distracted me ) ...I suspect it was the fan module failed to kick in, as it’s been fine every time I be run it on the drive since, it’s SORN at the moment but if your really interested I was going to get my local LR specialist to give it the once over before selling anyway. Regards

My first FL2 was nominally an XS. However it had lots of handy extras, Full Memory Leather Seats, with auto closing, reverse dipping External Mirrors, and Armrests Front and Rear. Upgraded Sound System 19 inch Diamond Turned Alloy Wheels Tinted Windows Spoiler and it was an SD4 Auto. You will find that like most premium cars, they tend to be equipped with lots of extras. Most garages do not take these into account when pricing, and quite often do not list them in adverts. Therefore look carefully at any pictures displayed for the bits you want. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011) FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015) Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History (Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?) |

The one thing a HSE will have that very few others will have (if any) is the dual sunroof. Makes the interior lovely and bright inside! |
