Thankyou.
The shinyness of the freelander was achieved with "Bilt Hamber" finis wax......a carnauba wax. I was recommended it for the new paint on the xjs and was very impressed. Best wax ive ever used.

Hello. After test driving a few late FL2s i fell in love with them. Just bought a late MY2014 se-tech. I ve been used to a vw passat daily driver which ive worn out, need to tow a trailer now so here we go.....it cost a small fortune but its like new,i guess its previously been a dolly trolly Rolling Eyes full LR history, 70k. Just learnt how it all works.I love it Very Happy

Looks nice but I would remove the steps you really don’t need them on the FL2 & they look awful.

I did remove these in the end, not because of the looks but for practical reasons. Im tall and found i couldnt step on them, just made getting in awkward. Rolling Eyes

Much much better looking imo. The steps are just too bulky for a relatively small vehicle like the Freelander. They make the vehicle look frumpy Smile FL2 SD4 XS 2013 Orkney Grey

Let me know if you want to sell the side steps as I am interesting in buying a set.

Ok Moe, I'll get them cleaned up in the next week or so and take some pics. I'm pretty sure they are Genuine LR , fitted as an option when the car was sold new. Thumbs Up
