It seems a 51 year old drunken man has used a Freelander to drive through a pedestrian area in Tier and has killed 4 people.

As sad as it is and I'm not trying to trivialise the event in any way, it's a bit like saying "a gun killed xxx people", the car, (or the gun,) is merely the instrument, as would have been the case whatever vehicle was used for this despicable act.

Although most people on here have at least some connection with their Freelanders, to many others, it's a mere conveyance, just a set of wheels to get about with.

It does make you wonder what goes on in someone's head to do such a thing though.

Don't see any mention of a Freelander, Range Rover yes but not a freelander.
Like CliveS say's not the cars fault. Common sense isn't very common.
