Fault code reader

Hello can someone please recommend a fault code reader that is quite accurate for my 2009 freelander 2.

Or may have one to sell...?

Thank you.

Hi,
depends what your wanting it to do Question

an IID I dont think there is much on FL2 you can alter but it will read codes and if you know anyone with one plug it in and see if it does what you want, used a mates that is aligned to a D4 to check my rear pdc's and it could see them and record the distance from each sensor as you walked forward and back

the cheaper end £10 ones will only give generic codes

Thumbs Up .
my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars!
But its now gone way up Norf

Hello Riverblanch, thank you for returning my query, well I have a basic code reader from euro car parts which does clear the mil light and also reads codes.
With other peoples topics everything seems to revolve around “what codes are what” and all that, just thought of what people use and could recommend not really for re programming but observing.

I have been in the past looked at Autel products and have been warned not to buy these from ebay or Amazon as they are cheap Chinese imports with zero dealer assistance

So will keep looking at Autel as Iv heard Autel supply equipment to Jaguar Landrover as also to confirm I saw a package at a main dealer in Redruth when my throttle body hose split and bought a replacement whilst away on hols in September when asking for advice from workshop staff, I asked him about Autel and he said the box contained an interface connector.
Interesting somewhat.

But thank you again.
