I run the aerial along the bottom and up the side of the windscreen, the side is clear of the wires so can get a better signal. Common sense isn't very common.

I have mounted my sat-nav in the bottom right-hand corner of my screen. (this is the second FL2 (and sat-nav) that I have used this mount

A final post on this topic - after a factory reset, the old unit works perfectly in my wife's Toyota Corolla- but still not in my FL2. So, she has a nice modern Satnav now!
