First trip away

We're away for the first time using the Freelander to tow. I was a bit worried having come from a Range Rover Sport that it might be a little disappointing, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Very stable for saying how windy it is and no issues at all with some big hills.

The place where we're stopping is a CL called Whitehouse Farm, near to Hartington in The Peaks. Lovely and peaceful, just the place for a relaxing few days.

Not used ours this year, went over to the storage to check everything is OK last month but it hasn't moved since the end of September last year. Hopefully we will get an opportunity next Spring.

That's a shame. We've been away much less this year. We've managed about 4 trips.
They've been very different in that we've been taking everything with us, and haven't been eating out or going to tourist attractions. Still nice to have a change of scenery for a few days.

We got no use of ours this year at all, missed our usual French trip and the cheap red wine, but we hadn't planned a holiday because we were moving to a new build home. Ended up having to move before the house was finished so had 2 weeks in the caravan outside it and all our furniture in the garage.
