Hi

I just thought I'd give a bit of feedback on how easy it is to self fit a tow socket. Our FL2 came with a 7 pin socket, but as caravanners we needed 13.
It took me longer to get the mounting bolts off the old socket than it did the entire install of the new wiring and socket.
If anyone isn't sure about doing the job yourself then really don't worry about it. It really is simple.

I think this only works on later cars, Face lift onwards ? Older cars need programming I believe ?

Yes I was lucky in that mine had already been programmed, so it all worked once the socket was changed
