Not sure youre making the best automotive decision ever, having driven the Shogun Sport, admittedly only the V6 petrol version (Which makes a nice noise, doesnt actually go very fast and has a horrific appetite for petrol and rolls through bends like a drunken sailor) Id confidently say the Freelander is the superior car all day long Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I had a SWB Shogun years back , it was bulletproof. A few of the guys on our shoot use L200s never a bad word. I’ve had Mitsubishi , Suzuki , Toyota , and now currently a Subaru which has had 4 and half years and 50thousand miles of faultless running . I’ve also had a Land Rover product for the last 24 years at the behest of my late wife who loved LR .

Interesting that Mitsubishi are still advertising on TV and Instagram. I wonder how many customers realise that they will disappear in a year or so and how the warranty/servicing issues will be handled? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

It’s a question I’d ask . However as the withdrawal is part of the Nissan/Renault/ Mitsubishi global plan , I can’t see owners being hung out to dry . At some time in the future , the Nissan brand will also go leaving just the Renault name . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
