putting old petrol into sd4

i used to own an old mitsubishi pajero ; any stale/old petrol ( 5 ltr to a full tank of diesel ) was mixed in with the diesel ;

am i ok to do the same with a 2012 diesel sd4 ; or are they too sensitive

You will end up with a list of errors & will need to take it LR & get it fixed making it a very expensive tank of fuel.

loved my pajero ; 1994 swb ; i do off road trials/mx and enduro ; lost count of the heavily laden vans i have towed out of muddy fields
