The kit on ebay says that it's for the TD4.
Are the all the filters the same for the SD4 as the TD4? I'm pretty sure they are, but it never hurts to check Very Happy 2012 SD4 XS Santorini Black

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Dynamic Manual Santorini Black

As far as I know it is the same engine - only the map is different so filters should be identical (please correct me if I have this wrong)

I believe Duckworths are a site sponsor - service items here -> http://www.duckworthparts.co.uk/landrover/...der_2.html
Only 1 filter listed so must be the same for TD4 & SD4 - they also do service kits

Anyone know if there is a forum discount at Duckworths? 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic

Duckworth’s always used to give a bit of a discount & free UK shipping to forum members but I haven’t bought anything from them since Dan Roberts (who used to look after us) left for pastures new.

What they do now though...? It seems the Duckworth's subforum is not monitored these days as closely as it once was. Phone call needed.

silicone tip

I have changed the filter a few times now. I agree the 27mm flexi end ratchet ring is invaluable. I usually lubricate the new O ring with engine oil. This time i sprayed the seal and plastic threads silicone. Much easier to screw into the housing.
