Hi All, we have a 59 MY HSE auto and going to have the oil and filter change, LRparts have a kit on their site with all filters and oil for a service and states the oil and fuel filters are OEM but states the oil supplied with it os semi- sin is this okay in this model?
What are the correct filters to use as in oil, fuel and air filters?

If you are going to service it yourself you need an adjustable ended 27mm spanner....otherwise it’s near impossible to do!

Hi all, if anyone is thinking of ordering this set of Filters, just had an email from the sellers to say they are out of the genuine air filters at present but they are on back order so I told them to hold the order for me until the air filters are in.
Just thought I would give it a heads up on the forum.

I have also ordered the 27mm flexi head rachet spanner, thanks for the advice on that.

Yes.. the oil filter is in the most incredibly difficult place to get to... it’s mounted on the front of the block halfway down....which sounds easy but it is a total bitch...

A normal spanner has a slight angle on it but it is impossible to fit over the nut end of the cap due to it being the wrong angle and thus the spanner fouls on other components... I spent hours trying to get to it previously and totally struggled...it’s not helped because the end of the filter cap has a little nobble on the end of it to stop the spanner slipping off...however because it’s at such an angle it stops the spanner fitting....

The adjustable head spanner makes the job so so simple! I find it is easier to get to the filter from underneath... remove the bottom plate as access is relatively easy....good luck!

Did mine again last week with the 27mm flexi-spanner from underneath. Had become really tight and at one point I'd thought maybe Id damaged the threads. But then it became free and all was good. That big O ring really binds in the housing after a while despite it only being tightened to about 25nm Jules
