I suspect the stupid rubber arch strips are responsible for that. |

yes I will go with that I have removed mine on previous fl/2 s cleaned out the crud around the inner arch and wax oiled it thoroughly no problems I am about to do the same to swmbo,s 09 hst ![]() i dont think it will cost a fortune to remedy also if you are keeping the car then its well worth it cheers sandy ![]() P38 v8 auto no problems,great howle from exhausts when giving it welly Td5 auto head gasket,no5 pot not uncommon but good car. 1st Tdv6s manual epb problem fixed under warranty(stealer said"never heard of this before,i suggested he looked at d3 forum. 2nd Tdv6 se auto epb 3rd Tdv6 xs auto 2008,swmbo,s favourite. |

You'll need to sort the inside of the arch too I imagine as that rust has come from somewhere Jules |

I did that but didn’t replace them more trouble than worth just get the hose pipe under there when you wash it. |
