Hi All.
Just bought a Freelander 2 s on a 57 plate. And I'm new to both land rover and forums , so please be gentle.
I started the engine,let it run for a few minutes. I turned the fan on inside the car, and nothing. I've had a look through the manual,but there is nothing on it.
Can anyone shed some light as to why it's not working,and hopefully guide me in the right direction.

I would start by checking the fuses.

3 fuse boxes to make life interesting. Engine bay, footwell, and boot. Note fuse box layout differences between early and later Freelander 2's

How did you turn the fan on?
Have you tried to the heater/air-conditioning on high and low temperature settings?
What was the outcome? FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Via the knob on the console. Nothing happens whether it be on cold or hot setting.

Fuses first, then get the codes read. My own FL2 had loads of HVAC codes, some of which cleared, and some don't, so will need some lubrication or replacement of the servos to cure the issue.

Thanks Nodge. Checked fuse and replaced,but still so heaters. Cold or Hot. What are HVAC codes and where and how do I find them.🙃

Thanks to all for the help and info. I've got it booked in for a full service at the garage near me,so he said he will have a look at it, as I have not got a scooby doo 😁

Sometimes things like this can be sorted in minutes by someone with a multi meter who knows what to do with one. Personally they baffle me.
