United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Sumatra Black
Aux Input Surround Sound

Well I've had my Freelander for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I'm loving every minute of it although my wallet is not liking the mods I'm planning. The first one was to fit a Pure Highway 400 to give me DAb and Bluetooth Audio and I have to say it works really well. Strange issue is though that when I use the Aux to run the sound from the Pure Highway to the Freelander stereo everything seems to come out of the center dash speaker, when I change to FM Transmitter though I get the full surround sound.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar with the aux input using only limited speakers? I'm thinking some crap has gone in to the aux socket which is affecting the connection from the 3.5mm jack but wanted to see if it could be anything more serious before I spend a few quid replacing the aux socket.

Other mods to come are side steps (I know their Marmite but I like them), Roof Bars, Clear side repeaters and brake light and roof spoiler once they come back in to stock at Powerful.

Thanjks

Carl
