Hi , change the plug , had the problem before on cars , It’s invariably a cheap and nasty plug, a fix can sometimes be achieved by straining the negative spring bars outwards (carefully). |

Thanks. This connector seems to have a two pin plug into it when you unscrew it so I'm not sure where I will get another one of those. I will bend the lugs out slightly for now and will see if I can take a photo of the two pin plug tomorrow.👍🏼 |

Sometimes the plugs are a bit on the short side so don’t make contact properly. |

Look at this problem another way, is it the socket that is at fault ? |

I was thinking of changing the socket when I get home anyway just to rule it out but I have a usb phone charger that works perfectly each time in the same socket. [/quote] |

I don't have a boot socket on mine though I have searched the forum and know one can be fitted. I like that you have changed yours for an Anderson plug. |
