If you are trading it in , the part ex price offered is irrelevant . The only thing that’ matters is “ the cost to change “ . Get a cost for the new car from Broadspeed or Carwow . Subtract the value of your car that you can realistically get from “ We buy any” . If the cost to change from your dealer is better than this it’s a good deal . If it isn’t tell them . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

I agree, having recently sold my wife's car. We had a dealer quote which we thought was too low, then tried 'webuyantcar'. Their on line price was good, so we took car to the local 'webuyanycar' site, and as expected the actual offer was a bit lower, but when I told the original dealer that we were not accepting his offer, he upped his offer to match 'webuyanycar'. The dealer was local and easier, so we went with him. Don't spend money on an old car unless you are keeping it. It's dead money. My previous 2 cars were 25 & 18 years old. I intend to keep the Freelander until it is run into the ground. After 10 years you get to really know a car. Depreciation has long gone so that's not an issue, but it will be on a new car. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
