2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Martinique Blue
Reversing Camera

Hello Everyone and nice to meet all of you!

Just popped by to ask a few questions hope you dont mind me bugging you all.
My dad has just took delivery of his new freelander2 gs ( What a car!! )
Ive been having great fun with it Very Happy

I am going to fit a reversing camera into the car and would like to sit the little screen in the space above the
cd player. Is there a way to run a wee cable down from that cubby hole?

The moniter/screen is only about the size of a small tomtom and looks great in place.
just cant figure out how to do the cabel?


Ohh and btw i have a real mean machine of a 4x4
Its a smart roadster with a 700cc engine Very HappyVery Happy haha Very Happy

there are a few installs that have had a reversing camera included, these normally include a DVD satnav system been retro fitted into the hole

Might be able to find them from the search function Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I got one. Fitted to my Sat Nav screen. Pictures in my gallery. Best thing ever when reversing!
