Possibly aux belt tensioner or alternator pulley. Have a look when its idling & see if the tensioner is jumping around. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

Yep a/c compressor. Thanks peeps. Cant believe i didnt check that lol. Booked in . Costs a bomb but it couldve been worse |

Well they went in to replace the compressor but found low gas due to a condenser leak . Still expensive but not as bad as a compressor which now its got refrigerant and oil sounds a hell of a load better |
