Clicking in boot

Hi All,

I don't think this is a problem, I'm just curious.
When my 2014 SD4 if off (doors locked, or unlocked) there is a sequence of 4 clicks in the boot, passenger side, every 10-30 seconds which continues for I don't know how long, I say in my locked vehicle for 20mins this morning and it didn't stop.

Can anyone shed some light on this? It's been the case as long as I've had the csr

Hi, someone will be along to correct me but I believe that it is all the software / computer stuff Rolling Eyes shutting down .

Also do you double lock the car as in pressing key fob waiting few seconds and pressing lock again?

Hope this helps

If you leave the car unlocked altogether it still happens. It's just relay/s switching off the car in sequence. A couple of minutes later power will be turned off to the 12 volts outlets. Then interior lights........ a month later you will need to manually open the passenger door to get in the car. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Is it SWMBO trying to get out? Let her travel in the front, don't shove her in the boot Laughing
