Yes there’s adjustment on the catches under the lip of the bonnet I think but can’t remember if the rubber stoppers are the screw in and out adjustable types which may be easier. |

the nearside head lamp is also out of line, has the car been crashed or had any bodywork done ? |

No, not crashed or anything like that, just I've probably not put it back properly after changing the headlight lamps on a fairly regular basis. |

Yes but see the rubber to the right ? I think they screw in and out both sides. |

Adjusting the nut will take up the slack Common sense isn't very common.
