My mam.

Seen the war, lost a lung, Aberfan disaster, many many Labour party battles ( when they were real labour ), 1984_85 miners strike stood on the front line of picket line, fetched up six of us, AND STILL WORKED !,buried one her son's a few years back,health deteriorated and went in her sleep Monday morning.

RIP mam. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Sorry for your loss Jules, I hope you can take comfort from the fact that she had a full and purposeful life - bringing up six is no mean feat. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Charlie Daniels

Charlie Daniels, who famously sang "The Devil went down to Georgia," passed away in Hermitage, Tenn., on July 6. Doctors determined the cause of death was a hemorrhagic stroke. He was 83. Charlie was a Grammy winner and was a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Common sense isn't very common.

Have watched the good the bad and the ugly a few times, and remember the ecstasy of gold part of the score, just never realised how much thought, effort and skill went into the production of the music.

On the bright side, even I can remember the words "ooooo ooooo oooo" and repeat Very Happy Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
