Australia 2009 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Santorini Black
LR Bluetooth Retroft

I have just finished getting facts and figures from LR and dealers for retro fitting the Bluetooth Kit, took a week to get everything from them. Remember, these figures are in AUD (Australian) dollars.

Two parts are needed, one (TCM) was just superceaded (part number is correct for new one)

Telephone Control Module (LR006802) $479.35 AUD
    Installation Kit (LR002775) $671.60 AUD

Now let's look at the labour charges...
    Time: 4-5 hours
    Labour Costs: $790 AUD

GRAND TOTAL: $1940.95 AUD Customisation: LED (CW) Internal Lighting, Re-badged Steering Wheel (black/silver badge), Wheel Caps (black/silver badge), Black Magic Tint, Santorini Black handles

Accessories: LR Chronograph, LR Golf Umbrella, LR Pen, LR Key Chain, LR Hat (blue), Rubber Boot Protector Mat, Side Steps, Mud Flaps, Body Side Mouldings

2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Zermatt Silver

I've just gone through the buying 'experience' with LR in Gloucester. It was imperative that I had BT phone for business calls and so I was haggling for a real cheap XS.

They had a new, unregistered GS in the showroom with full leather that they wanted to clear and were pricing very agressively (20,999 sticker price). The dealer offered to do me a deal on this if he retrofitted BT but then came back to me and said it would cost him £750 to retrofit and knew I wouldn't go for it over an XS.

Apparently it is much cheaper and more straight forward on the Discovery 3 model. New: Freelander2 GS 62 plate (MY13) - Santorini Black with Clearview & Front PDC
Old: Freelander2 XS 09 Plate - Zermatt Silver with ST3 remap (eco map), Garmin 1490T Sat Nav, Rear Seat Entertainment kit
