Aircon pump advice

Hi all
Freelander 2 hse 2.2 / 2008
I have a screeching sound from my air-con pump advised the bearing has failed.
I have been offered a pump of a 2012/3 is it compatible with my car
Does anyone know if its a it's a straight swap
