Not a nice way to be but I have very little faith or trust in garages. The body aches and complains these days if I spend to much time under a car, the reason garages are used more often than I'd like.

Last time I used my local main dealer for a service they did not change the air filter as it’s easy to check, If they can’t be bothered to carry out a air filter change there is no way on earth the oil filter had been done I then decided to do my own services & only get a garage to do the jobs I can’t do.

When you get your SCUBA regulators serviced it is customary to receive a bag with all the old parts that have been replaced (filters, O rings and seals etc) as proof of work done.
When I last had my service done at a garage (Prospect in Solihull) I was glad to be shown the genuine boxed parts and later the old parts when I picked the FL2 up.

We should insist on practice this more perhaps. Jules
