Help - Propshaft Removal possible HALDEX Oil Leak?

My earlier post sought help to understand how to separate the Active Couipling at the front of the Haldex in order to do the fuel tank sender connector fix https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic35473.html

Having successfully done the repair, refitted the tank and rebuilt the car, I now discover I have an oil leak from the front of the Haldex Unit - see pictures below:

Can anyone confirm whether this is the Haldex pinion oil seal that's leaking and advise is this only going to get worse or is it a question of it settling down having disturbed it? I understand that the Haldex has to come out to replace the seal and that specialist tools are required. Can anyone advise?

A trip to Bell Engineering would save all this grief, no saving what so ever scabbling around under your car without the proper gear or knowledge .

Agreed- not intending to attempt Haldex removal/seal replacement myself if that’s it. Thankfully O have a very good local ex-LR tech who did my front diff last year and guess where I’m going first thing Monday!

If you havent undone anything on the haldex I dont see why it should start leaking - all you did was remove the propshaft.

Are you sure there wasnt a pool of WD40 somewhere in the flange ? just guesssing Jules

Sadly, too much oil coming out and, late this afternoon, I found the smoking gun....

You can see the oil coming out of one of the 2 blind holes - interestingly, the other is dry.
