I get around with torn shorts, holes in my t-shirts & no tread on my sandals & own a Land Rover from the pauper end of the spectrum! Others is our building are nicely dressed, have cleaners, are eating out constantly & they rent, it's a pattern I've noticed over the years.

I can tolerate torn trousers, holes in shirts, and owning a Land Rover, but NO tread on your sandals. Aren't there laws in Australia regarding minimum tread? FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

England 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

A woman was stopped by police on the M6 driving at 86 mph. When they checked her car they found that all four tyres were nearly bald with less than 1mm of tread. They asked her why she was driving with dangerous tyres and didn't she know that they were likely to blow out soon. She replied that she did know the tyres were dangerous but wanted to get home as soon as possible before they blew out.
