Boris Statement was a bit vague and lacking in detail.

^^^Wow, that's seriously restrictive but the UK has a lot more COVID casualties compared to Canada. I am in Ontario and we have a shut down but they have not restricted travel within the province for "essentials". Where I live, the closest hamlet is about 12-13 minutes away but for supermarket, the closest city is about a minimum of 25 minutes and it's really just a large town. |

From Wednesday..... 1) Anywhere within England (Not Scotland, Wales, NI) 2) Same as above, but you must keep 2m apart from anyone not in your household. 3) Yes, but stay in England. You can stop where you like in England. You will only get a fine if you are less than 2m apart from someone not in your household. Last edited by TooBlue on 11th May 2020 4:44 am. Each State in Australia has variations on our Federal Government rules. A lot of States have limited travel within each State, some are very restrictive. Also most States have closed their borders. Emergency services & essential services are allowed to travel but even then there are restrictions. A lot of grey nomads who are permanently on the road with no bricks & mortar homes are finding it very difficult. Also private caravan parks, council run caravan parks, show ground parks, national parks, state forests, public reserves are all closed so they are finding it very difficult stay put anywhere. Especially near or in a town where they can buy food. Most grey nomads can only carry so much water so you don't want to keep traveling back into town. Love the phrase "Grey Nomad" conjures up thoughts of selling up, quitting the rat race and just pottering about for your final years with the one you love, with no gardening and very little maintenance - houses are just money pits that suck resources and time.
