[SOLD] dimming rear view mirror

I have a spare dimming rear view mirror if anyone can make use of it, 6H52-17E678-BE, its an easy retrofit, needs a single LIN wire installing to get full operation. I've swapped mine out for something a little different.

Hi Arese, you have PM.

International shipping costs have, perhaps unexpectedly, gone rather mental. I've got a parcel I need to send down under, 3 weeks ago it was around £30 to ship, now its £85!

Curious, what are you replacing it with?

I'm replacing it with a GDO (Garage Door Opener) version. Its a NAS version that I've had shipped over for not a lot of money, but now I have to come up with some sort of bridge as the frequencies are different. Shouldn't be too hard as I have some working knowledge of the Gentex/Homelink systems.

Oh god no, it's the only place I have to hide from the wife and kids. They're all barred.

Hi Vanny Thumbs Up

Mirror replaced as per your clear guidance in 5 minutes , an easy job actually ! works perfect thank you Thumbs Up

Actually the reference of the mirror in my FL2 is 6H52-17E678-AF , the one you've shipped is 6H52-17E678-BE

main differences :
1 / not the same width (few mm difference)
2 / some slots in the back of the mirror I received, not present in mine.
3/ there is kind of sensor Question not present in my mirror but present in yours ...I don't know what is that for, do you ?

My FL2 is MY2012 HSE

The extra sensors are the glass fogging sensor. The 'blob' is the glass temperature sensor, the grill is for humidity/ air temperature sensor intake. They help to avoid misting in cool/damp conditions by changing what the HVAC does.

Probably of no use to you in your climate! The humidity sensor is not fit in hot climate countries, I should have thought of that.

You would need to turn them on in the CCF to make them work, otherwise fitting them to the car will make no difference to the operation.

Hi thx for the info. Thumbs Up
It maybe worth it activate this stuff in the CCF Whistle
Morocco has actually a mild climate ... In Casablanca where I live, the average temperature is ~ 18°C and the humidity more than 90%
