Do you mean where the cables are attached or something else? Not sure what these look like... are they clamps? I’ll have to pop the bonnet and have a look. |

There is a flange at the base of the battery and there should be a clamp plate and bolt that holds this in place. It’s not easy to get at and it’s always possible that whoever mounted the battery didn’t manage or couldn't be bothered to tighten it up. There was a good thread on here a while ago about it. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto
