Wheel cleaner

Hi anybody got any tricks for cleaning alloy wheels mine I've tried wonder wheels scrubbing ! Nothing gets the black streaks from brake dust

Almost any one of a selection of wheel brushes from Halfrauds and ordinary car shampoo. Works okay for me.

Oh, and a bit of elbow grease.

Wonder wheels is now rubbish....had the same problem and whereas previously it would have an excellent effect it now appears to have been hugely watered down and totally ineffective! Shocked

I just use supermarket brand insect remover and an old toothbrush when dirt/brake dust gets ingrained.
Then a quick wash with wax shampoo, finished off with wax based furniture polish.
It seems to work very well without damaging lacquer finish on wheels. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Another vote for Bilt Hamber I have used Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel Cleaner for years it is by far the best and easiest one I've used just spray it on leave it to change colour then power wash of, wheels come up great no scrubbing needed.

I tried to get the above and difficult in current situation so I went a bit old school and used suger soap and an old battery toothbrush and they come up a treat !
