Following on from DISCO3/4 I thought I would start up a Coronavirus discussion/help thread.

As a heads up - anyone who wants to order groceries on line at present Sainsburys are not accepting any new accounts to be set up, Tesco and Asda are letting you set up new accounts for home delivery (finding an available delivery slot is a different issue). MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone

Just a tip for anyone thinking that they can visit Dorset beauty spots over the Bank Holiday. Don't bother, I live near Lulworth Cove and the place has had police road blocks all day and issuing apparently hundreds of £60 fines. This was the scene this morning and I went past on my bike and counted ten cars in this queue. There was another road block around the corner on the road to Durdle Door. I hear it's the same all over Dorset and there are unmarked cars out there too doing ANPR checks.

I bought one of these inexpensive pulse oximeters. It appears to work well. In the early 80s when they first appeared in clinical use they cost thousands - now miniaturized and costing a few quid.

Vaccinated today. No side effects yet but have suggested to Significant Other I should rest, read the paper and so on. Asked that she move the remote to the right hand side and use right-handled tea cups . . . . . just in case. Not sure she's fallen for it |

I have heard it said that a nice curry and a couple of beers are ideal for coping with any side effects brought on by the Covid vaccination |

Oh yes, going out for a curry and beer then to a secret lockdown party - after all I've been vaccinated, I'm immune |
