Americans have different priorities for Coronavirus. Maybe there will be more gun deaths due to Coronavirus than from getting the virus!

Big deal. If we're counting, then we had 4 cases overnight up here who also pegged it - one less than 8 miles away, but who's competing?

People die all the time - stop subscribing to the frenzied hype.

Are you planning to be like this for the next few months? If so, the depression will get you long before the virus.

Lighten up....leave the Meeeeeeeeeedyaaaaa to pontificate the apocalypse and get on and live your life. Worse things happen at sea after all!

Crazy world we live in.

A sure way to increase your chances of becoming infected is to stand in a packed queue of strangers panic buying at supermarkets or waiting to be checked for COV19 at an airport.

The epidemic wont stop spreading until enough people who make contact with each other become immune. The point of social distancing is to reduce the peak infection rate so that society doesnt break down. It is estimated that it will probably take 4-6 months for herd immunity to reach a point where the epidemic ends. Jules

I suspect your chances of dodging the virus is similar to your chances of dodging rain drops in a shower, if you were inside when it started, OK, but outside join the queue Whistle
One thing to remember when either holidaying or living abroad, never choose anywhere where there is only one way out, best option is car, ferry and air, having only one could leave you in the mire Sad my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

So what do I do? I am 71 and supposed to be self isolating. My FL2 MOT comes up in a week or so. It’s booked in at the dealers for service and MOT on Friday. Car must be serviced for the extended warranty. I am tempted to just sit there and wait for it rather than accept a lift into town and meet lots of people. #lifechoices 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

An "essential journey". And fill your tank on the way back! Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

A new prisoner pensioner police force, known as CoronaForce will be introduced in every town to round up errant persons. Tactical equipment include walking sticks, megaphones & anything at hand!
