I have just taken possession of a frl 2 gs td4 auto, love the car but find the brakes a bit noisy as if they were always wet is this the norm for freelanders

i don't notice my brakes making any noise, whether wet or dry Confused

Could there be a bit of debris caught inbetween the brakes and the disc

or it could be a worn wheel bearing, i had a whirring noise all the time and thought it was my handbrake, but turned out to be a bearing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Depends upon mileage. Mine started at 12.5k miles and 14 months old just after the first service..
Went back to stealer and they cleaned out the debris in the callipers /handbrake drums under warranty and said that they have done this to several vehicles and would be claiming from Land Rover as it is not included in the first service and are pressing for it to be put on th schedule.
