The smog has lifted from Yorkshire thankfully😂 also don’t remember doing the Paris Dakar although my filter then should be like that picture shown lightwater - not looking like a coal miners lungs!

I would say the response is definitely more swayed towards ‘They ain’t touched it’ ! SD4 HSE Lux

Did you have a 7yr service done?

The air filter is not changed as part of that service...

Obviously, ignore the above if youve been charged for an air filter Whistle

Thanks Mikey. Yes it was on the invoice which has made me suspicious, perhaps unnecessarily, of the entire job. SD4 HSE Lux

There should be a date stamp printed on the filter.

The previous owner of mine had stumped up for a 2 year service plan
and when I first took it to my specialist the air filter had not been changed although charged for.

It's the easiest filter to change on a FL2 too...

A dealer once tried to charge me for an air filter. I pointed out that I had fitted a K&N filter and even placed the K&N sticker on the air box !!!
He told me the computer knows what parts are to be changed on a particular service and automatically invoices against that.
